Turning ONE is a big deal. Your little one is now sitting up on his own and possibly walking. He is also learning there is a huge world around him. They are constantly exploring their surroundings and sitting is becoming one of your favorite past times. Emotions are also very BIG at one so we love capturing every oz of their big personality.
I like to start all my baby photography sessions by playing games with your baby to get them familiar with me and where they are at. Baby Eli came in feeling a little stranger danger. We played peek-a-boo to break the ice and I got a few smiles from this cute little dude. Mom brought along some toys and snacks to keep him entertained. As he warmed up to me, I really got to see Eli’s personality come through in all the photos. We captured everything from smiles, to cry’s and the look of, “Hey lady, why are you singing that baby shark song so silly?” At last the moment he didn’t know he was waiting for CAKE! Mom gave him a small taste of the icing and he realized it was all for him, Eli went to town. His curiosity digging his hands into the cake was the cutest! The more and more as he dug through the cake taking bites he realized how yummy and fun this was! I can’t wait till Eli is grown and shows his kids these photos of such delight! I feel so honored that Eli’s parents chose me to capture the incredible emotions of their little guy! I hope you choose me to be a part of your littles ONE-year milestone!
