I always enjoy shooting outdoor maternity sessions. There’s just something calming and peaceful about being out in the fresh air with natural greenery all around. I want all expecting mothers to feel relaxed, confident, and comfortable when they do a session with me. After all, this is a time to celebrate the amazing journey of pregnancy. So, whether you choose inside or out, I will make sure that you feel completely at ease.
For this shoot, we found a secluded field among a gorgeous giant tree. The expecting mother wore a lovely two-piece maternity dress that accentuated her growing bump just right. She looked absolutely stunning. The sunset was beaming through her hair, bump, and dress and overall she literally looked so angelic. I love this area for that very reason, but this fall seemed even more vibrant than ever. The bliss of expecting a child filled her face, and she looked as if she were soaking at the moment, ready to meet her little bundle of joy who will arrive in just a few weeks.
Years from now, her baby will love seeing these pictures and be reminded of the love that began before birth. It’s easy to see that even now before she has even met her little one, she already adores and fiercely protects the one growing inside—beautiful! I am so happy for their family and can’t wait for the baby’s arrival!
