Newborn sessions are my absolute favorite to photograph; however when one or two siblings join my heart completely melts! This sweet baby boy and his big brother and sister were a dream! A common fear with parents is how will the older kiddos cooperate at the photo session? Not to fear!! My assistant and I have many tricks up our sleeves to make some magic! Parents- snacks and a small toy are a plus to bring as well!
The siblings were styled by their mom in white which made it easy to coordinate with my client’s baby wardrobe I provide in the studio. Now on to the shoot…..you could initially sense big brothers hesitation holding the baby but that quickly disappeared when his sister came in to hold him and the baby. It was easy to see the love and admiration these siblings already have for baby brother. My heart grew 10x bigger when my sister had her chance to pose with her baby brother on her own. After photographing these precious moments, grandma whisked the older kiddos away to special lunch out so we could work our magic on baby’s individual photos.
